All Saint's Day

While everyone else was making Batman, I was making Saint Bernward of Hildesheim, patron saint of architects, and every little boys dream Halloween costume. The robe is from an 80's vintage prairie dress costume, gleaned from my mother's pattern stash.
Mitre by mommy.
Rings by Mommy. Fancy buttons from fabric row strung on a pipe cleaner.
Chasuble (green part) by mommy, based on some last minute interweb vestment research. The crosier is a borrowed 42" T-square (patron saint of architects, get it?).

Contrary to the story these photos tell, he was perfectly happy to recycle his All Saint's Pageant costume for trick or treat.
