I am not much of a thrifter. I used to be enticed by every "antique" shop I saw, but the combination of moving into smaller and smaller houses, and two kids in two car seats, has dampened my enthusiasm. I have had some handkerchief curtains in mind for a few years now (and it will probably be a few more years before they are actually hanging in my house), and I first saw these hankies at about the same time. Clearly, my local "antique" store doesn't have a high turn over.
I was thinking these would make cute pillows for the kids.
